Chelsea could still lose out on Raphinha signing after Arsenal new last-ditch approach to counter move emerge

According to reports, Arsenal executives spent Tuesday pleading with Leeds to sell Raphinha to them rather than to Chelsea.

Three teams have been battling for Raphinha in recent weeks, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Barcelona all interested in signing him.

He had previously appeared destined to sign with both Barcelona and Arsenal,

but after a crucial day in the transfer sweepstakes, he is now expected to sign with Chelsea.

After interfering with Arsenal's pursuit of Raphinha, the Blues and Leeds have reached an agreement on a fee of £55 million.

According to reports, Todd Boehly, the new owner of Chelsea,

participated in the talks after temporarily replacing departing director Marina Granovskaia.
