Phillies will reportedly call up Darick Hall

The Phillies are promoting their finest left-handed power hitter from the minor leagues because Bryce Harper is out for the foreseeable future.

First baseman Darick Hall will be added to the roster by the Phillies, according to Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

The related 40 or 26-man roster change is still unknown.

Hall, 26, has hit 20 home runs for the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs in Triple A so far this year

Since 2019, he has combined to hit 54 home runs in Double A and Triple A

. Although he has the most raw power in the Phillies' system, he is not without limitations

. The Phillies will attempt to match him up against starting pitchers who are right-handed because of his extreme left-to-right platoon splits.
