Puma Signs Rising American Track Star Abby Steiner for Ambassador Contract

Puma has signed 22-year-old American track-and-field athlete Abby Steiner.

She finished second in the world in that distance this year after winning the 200-meter final of the US Outdoor Championships in 21.77 seconds

She will take part in the World Athletic Championships this summer in Eugene, Oregon.

In 2018, Steiner was recognised as the greatest female athlete in the country for high schools.

She now owns the American record for women's indoor 200 metres as well as the NCAA record (outdoors).

Her personal best times for the 100 and 200 metres are 10.9 and 21.77 seconds, respectively. Steiner received two honours earlier this year

she won the 2022 Honda Sport Award for Track & Field and was awarded the National Women's Track Athlete of the Year.

In Eugene, Steiner ran the women's 200 metres in 21.77 seconds to win her first national championship.

Abby Steiner, who won gold in the 100-meter and 200-meter events at the 2016 Rio Olympics and again at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics

is one of the most promising up-and-coming talents in track and field, according to Pascal Rolling, head of running sports marketing at Puma.
